Welcome back to this space on Internet. It’s a long time I haven’t posted any recipes here.
Today I have come up with an amazing recipe to share it with you guys. It’s a recipe from my mother-in-law’s cook book.
A simple chutney, which goes well with almost everything.
Channa Dal, Red Chili, Curry Leaves, 1tbsp Oil for frying.
Coriander Leaves, Grated Coconut, Tamarind and Salt for grinding.
1tbps oil, Mustard seeds, Urad dal, hing (Asafoetida) for tempering.
- Fry Channa Dal, Red Chili, Curry Leaves with 1tbsp Oil till golden brown, and let it cool for 5mins
- Along with above fried items add Coriander Leaves, Grated Coconut, Tamarind, Salt and little water grind to form paste like consistency. If required you can add water to thin the consistency.
- Now in a small pan add 1tbps oil, Mustard seeds, Urad dal and hing for tempering.
- Serve with Idly, Dosa or Chapathi or even it goes well with hot rice.
